Biography

Attorney Derek M. Nelson graduated with a degree in Accountancy from Auburn University in 2011, where he attended on a four-year scholarship. Mr. Nelson then obtained his juris doctor from the University of Arkansas in 2014, and was licensed to practice law in Tennessee that same year. During law school, Mr. Nelson spent a summer working in the State of Alabama Attorney General’s office for Attorney General Luther Strange. Mr. Nelson now works primarily on automobile accident cases and worker’s compensation cases. In his spare time, Mr. Nelson enjoys playing golf and fishing.
