Biography

Attorney A.J. Walker obtained his doctorate of jurisprudence in 2015 from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.  Mr. Walker received the Dean’s Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award in May of 2015 for providing meaningful pro bono service to the Memphis community.  While in school, Mr. Walker spent a semester working with the Memphis City Attorney’s office and Memphis Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) office.  Mr. Walker now works primarily with automobile accident victims, premises liability cases, and worker’s compensation claims.
In 2010, Mr. Walker obtained a Master of Arts from the University of Memphis in Art History/Egyptology and had the privilege of spending five months in Egypt working in tombs in Luxor and at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.  Additionally, Mr. Walker graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Classics from Florida State University in 2006.
