Biography

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Griffin worked in the banking industry as a securities analyst, stock and bond trader, and stock and bond portfolio manager. He was involved with managing millions of dollars in assets for hundreds of clients.

John Mark Griffin obtained his doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of Mississippi in 1988. He obtained his Masters of Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University in 1986 and a bachelor of science in finance in 1982. He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Ohio and is admitted to practice in both Federal and State Courts.

For more than 33 years, Mr. Griffin has represented individuals hurt by the negligence of others. He has collected millions of dollars for his clients in jury verdicts, judgments, meditations, and settlements against insurance companies and corporations for the injuries and damages incurred by his clients. He focuses his practice on representing individuals injured in automobile accidents, truck accidents, wrongful death claims, nursing home abuse, and dangerous premises cases (slip and falls).

Mr. Griffin is a partner in the law firm of  Warren & Griffin, P.C., and is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Chattanooga Bar Association, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and The American Bar Association. He has represented clients at every court level including Trial Courts, Appeals Courts, and Supreme Court. He and his wife Susan live in Chattanooga and have four children.
